Membership mangement is transitioning from our journal publisher (Oxford University Press) to the Society for 2027 when the journal moves to online only. You will no longer be able to purchase membership/subscription or renew via OUP. If you are interested in joining the Society for the 2027 membership year (our membership year runs January-December) please register your name and details and we will contact you once our in-house membership system goes live in November 2026.
If you urgently require a membership during this transitional period to apply for conference funding or a bursary, please contact admin@sshm.org so we can assist you in purchasing a membership (please note any membership purchased during this transitional period will be at 2027 rates and will cover membership up to 31 December 2027).
