For over 50 years, the Society for Social History of Medicine has provided its members an international forum for developing and sharing field-shaping research, for connecting with colleagues across disciplinary boundaries and national borders, and for accessing key points of support (financial, advisory, collegiate) to develop careers, especially in their earliest stages. These benefits remain a core feature of Society membership, alongside the opportunity to become involved in shaping the Society’s current work and future directions.
Joining SSHM is a straightforward two-step process: first, register your details, and second, purchase your membership. Please note that you must complete both steps in order to be confirmed as a member.
Once joined, you will be eligible for the full range of benefits (listed below).
We are grateful for the ongoing support of our members that make the Society what it is. Join today and become part of an open, inclusive, and dynamic community of scholars and partners working at the forefront of the field!
